Contracts Analyst The Vacancy:
The Commercial Contract Management function is responsible for ensuring the commercial success of every contract within the Multi-Site segment, from contract acceptance to delivery.
Since 2010 the Multi Site business had an challenging Operating Profit target. The Contract Management function was able to significantly reduce margin leakage, and protect future margin by improving processes and controls within the business. In 2012 Contract Management will be concentrating on increasing Competitive Advantage, Contractual Performance, and continuing the work of eradicating Margin Leakage
This role will be responsible for resolving all areas of margin leakage and developing robust contract management processes in the multi-site segment; implementing process / system solutions and introducing appropriate controls to ensure a high degree of commercial confidence within the business.
- Produce and maintain process maps for all processes as a consequence of Commercial Excellence process augmentation or control.
- Design, implement & measure controls and processes within Multi Site Operations and where Commercial Excellence has embedded.
- Establish agreed SLA’s and performance management criteria with stakeholder in Multi Site Operations.
- Delivery of assigned margin leakage initiatives, including responsibility for achieving the defined benefits for the given projects.
- Provide support for the assembly of benefit cases, with required analysis and appropriate sign-off.
- Analyse assigned processes and data with a view to identifying inefficiencies and margin leakage.
- Challenge all assumptions, assisting in the review of current end-to-end processes and propose changes to implement effective commercial rigour within the business.
- Support other projects within the Commercial Excellence team and Contract Management where required.
- Achieving Business Objectives and contributing to department wide targets
- Ensure learning’s are shared between Contract Management teams across the business
Contracts Analyst - The Person:
- Fantastic Analyst with a natural flair to create reports and identify trends
- Ideally from a fianancial background
- Confident and effective communicator with ability to understand and translate key business messages to the team and build relationships throughout the business
- Excellent organisation and planning skills to deliver results accurately and on time
- Drive, energy and resilience to make a step change in the performance of the business
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality to ensure accuracy of commercial details within the business
- Ability to develop robust process and system solutions to deliver sustainable results
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), Outlook and Word
- Experience of coaching to improve the knowledge and skills of a team
- Commercial Awareness is paramount
- Passionate about customer service
