Assistant User Experience Manager (Digital) - Overview
As Assistant User Experience Manager you will maximise sales conversion by delivering a customer-focused, easy to use, best in class online shopping experience. This will be achieved by planning, executing and managing a series of digital change projects that will drive an increase in sales conversion, positive customer satisfaction and expand the sales capability of British Gas digital (including sainsburysenergy.com).
- Base salary : Up to £38,000 (experience related) + Bonus + Benefits (or package to c. £44,000
- Location : Staines ( TW18 3BY)
- This is a 5 month fixed term contract
Assistant User Experience Manager (Digital) - The Role
- Accountable for the front end design and user experience of the Partnership area of britishgas.co.uk and sainsburysenergy.com
- Analyze web analytics to inform continuous improvement of online ease of use and user experience
- Develop a strategic change roadmap for the britishgas.co.uk shopping experience with the User Experience manager
- Identify opportunities in the britishgas.co.uk & sainsburysenergy.com sales capabilities to develop & deliver a series of change projects to remedy these
- Plan and create best in class user experiences for regular product launches with the internal proposition development teams
- Deliver digital change projects in a timely fashion along with internal IT departments and change management functions
- Manage the user experience and design elements of the relationship between British Gas digital and our 3rd party digital agencies
- Keep the website content and design up to date whilst complying with legal and regulatory requirements at all times
- Deliver customer centric web change whilst understanding the commercial impacts and business objectives
- Act as primary contact to marketing stakeholders and as an internal consultant to business teams to shape online
Assistant User Experience Manager (Digital) - The Person
- Technical/Educational: A detailed understanding of the digital environment, including user centric best practice, creative design and emerging technologies
- Experience: Experience working with online designers, developers, testers and e business professionals is preferable
- Relationship: Good verbal communicator; A commercial outlook with the ability to influence and persuade internal stakeholders
- Leadership: Well organized, Goal oriented, Work independently and drive towards deadlines; Ability to think creatively to solve problems
