Experienced Senior Risk Analysts required

Senior Risk Analyst - The Role:
Being part of of the Risk Strategy Team, you will make critical decisions about the risks associated with all aspects of credit and account management across the customer life cycle. This will include acquisition, renewals and collections.
- Deliver risk based customer acquistion strategies that align terms of business to the level of opportunity and risk; whilst improving customer decision and enhanced resource management
- Develop proactive account managment strategies that materially enhance profitability and reduce bad debt charge
- Devise and implement segmentation and treatment strategies that optimise collections and recovery activity to best effect
- Identify opportunities to expand or rationalise reporting based upon changing requirements of the business
- Work with the scorecard development team to influence and validate model development and also develop implementation strategies with measurable impacts
- Undertake (and support others) and create analysis to understand the performance of the portfolio, key trends and impacts of proposed changes
- Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network
- Make an effective personal contribution to the sharing knowledge, ideas and information relating to Risk Management across the business
Senior Risk Analyst - The Person:
- Highly numerate, preferably with a Statistics or other numerate discipline graduate
- Proven track record of delivery within any of hte following areas of Risk Management, Acquisition, Account Management, Collecitons Portfolio Management, Scoring or Strategy Manager in a credit environment of a major organisation
- Experienced user of SAS (Base/Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner)
- An excellent analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to think logically
- A solid track record within data management and strong technical knowledge
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and meaningful way
- Proactive, innovative and able to conceptualise issues rapidly
- Effective influencing and presentation skills
- A sound knowledge of the financial marketplace and the implications to the utilities industry
