- Spinneyside Leicester Based
- £16,000 - £17,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience plus benefits
- plus bonus up to 18% of basic salary
Credit Collections Advisors - The Vacancy:
As a Credit Collections Advisor, your role will be to focus on:
- The collection of cash by managing your customer relationships to ensure that you help and assist customers with all their needs.
- Dealing with specific Inbound and Outbound calls; you will exceed customer expectations while contributing to the reduction of the Bad Debt Charge (both individually and as part of a team).
- Negotiating effective payment arrangements and robustly progressing through the debt process if required Management of a portfolio of customers, proactively contacting them to discuss overdue amounts.
- As the role holder, you will need to effectively manage and resolve complex gas and/or electricity queries received from the customer via telephone and in writing.
- You will be required to liaise internally with colleagues throughout the business and externally with industry partners, to resolve customer queries.
- You will need to work to agreed quality standards and to achieve agreed timescales Use of online tracing and business information sites to improve recoverability of debts
Credit Collections Advisors - The Person:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
- Good customer communication and negotiation skills are essential, in order to overcome customers objections to paying.
- You will be required to liaise with internal and external industry customers at all level both written and verbally.
- A proactive approach is desirable in order to resolve customer enquiries and update relevant business owners with process improvement suggestions, to ensure that debt is collectable in a timely and effective manner.
- You will need to be a good Team Player in order to build and maintain good working relationships within Credit and with other teams within the business
- You will be required to effectively manage and resolve your work portfolio.
- Effective prioritising of your workloads will be essential.
- You will be a proactive individual who is always seeking resolution in the interest of both the customer and the business
